Choosing your wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make while planning your wedding. After all, your venue sets the tone for the entire day and becomes the backdrop for so many of your favorite memories.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to photograph weddings at some incredible Miami wedding venues. Each one offers something different. Because of that, I always encourage couples to visit several venues before making a decision. These are four venues I always look forward to photographing.
If you’ve always dreamed of getting married somewhere that feels like a European estate, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is hard to beat.
Between the historic mansion, waterfront views, formal gardens, and beautiful architecture, every part of the property feels romantic. One of my favorite things about Vizcaya is the variety it offers. Within just a few minutes, you can move from elegant gardens to Biscayne Bay and historic stone pathways without ever leaving the venue. Plus, it’s one of those Miami wedding venues that never goes out of style.
Location: Coconut Grove
Style: Historic estate with European-inspired architecture
Best For: Luxury weddings, black-tie celebrations, and garden weddings
Ceremony: Outdoor
Reception: Outdoor
Guest Count: Great for intimate weddings and larger celebrations
My Favorite Part: Watching the sun set over Biscayne Bay while the gardens begin to glow.

The Biltmore Hotel is one of the most iconic Miami wedding venues in South Florida.
From the moment you arrive, everything feels timeless. The Mediterranean architecture, elegant courtyards, grand ballrooms, and historic details create a setting that’s both classic and unforgettable. Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or a large black-tie wedding, the Biltmore offers beautiful spaces for every part of the day. Plus, every corner of the property photographs beautifully.
Location: Coral Gables
Style: Historic luxury hotel
Best For: Elegant weddings and black-tie celebrations
Ceremony: Indoor or outdoor
Reception: Ballrooms and outdoor spaces
Guest Count: Perfect for intimate weddings and large celebrations
My Favorite Part: The courtyards and architecture photograph beautifully at every time of day.

The Ancient Spanish Monastery is unlike anywhere else in South Florida.
The historic stone walls, peaceful gardens, and centuries-old architecture make it feel like you’ve stepped into another country. It’s one of the most unique Miami wedding venues for couples who love history and timeless architecture.
No matter how many weddings I photograph here, it always feels special.
Location: North Miami Beach
Style: Historic monastery and gardens
Best For: Romantic outdoor weddings and intimate celebrations
Ceremony: Outdoor
Reception: Outdoor
Guest Count: Perfect for intimate and medium-sized weddings
My Favorite Part: The historic stone archways create one of the most beautiful ceremony backdrops in South Florida.

Villa Woodbine is tucked away in Coconut Grove and has one of the most romantic settings of any Miami wedding venue.
The Mediterranean-style villa, lush gardens, and charming courtyard create an intimate atmosphere from the moment guests arrive. It feels elegant without feeling overly formal, making it a wonderful choice for couples who want a celebration surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Location: Coconut Grove
Style: Mediterranean villa
Best For: Garden weddings and intimate celebrations
Ceremony: Outdoor
Reception: Outdoor courtyard
Guest Count: Best for small to medium-sized weddings
My Favorite Part: The courtyard feels especially beautiful once the café lights turn on in the evening.

Every couple has a different vision for their wedding day, which means there isn’t one venue that’s perfect for everyone.
As you tour Miami wedding venues, think about how you want the day to feel. Do you picture exchanging vows in a garden surrounded by greenery? A waterfront estate? A historic property full of character? Or a grand ballroom with timeless architecture?
The right venue should feel like you. When you walk through the property, you should be able to picture your wedding day unfolding there.
I’ve been fortunate to photograph weddings at some of my favorite Miami wedding venues, and each one tells a different story.
Whether you’re getting married at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, The Biltmore Hotel, the Ancient Spanish Monastery, Villa Woodbine, or another South Florida venue, I’d love to document your wedding day in a way that feels natural, timeless, and true to you.

At TLC Photos, I capture weddings, engagements, and milestones with artistry and intention, creating timeless imagery that becomes part of your legacy. This blog is an extension of that work, a place where you can find inspiration, behind the scenes stories, and practical guidance to help you feel confident as you plan your own celebration.
My love for photography began at a young age, when I discovered how a single image could capture not just a scene, but a feeling. What started as a natural curiosity grew into a refined craft, shaped by years of experience and a deep appreciation for artistry and detail. Today, I bring that same passion into every wedding and portrait, blending an editorial eye with a calm presence so my clients can feel fully themselves. At the heart of my work is a belief that photographs are more than images. They are the legacy we leave behind, preserved with beauty and intention.
