From Their Proposal at Thesis Hotel to Their Wedding Day | Sean & Stephanie

One of my favorite parts about being a wedding photographer is getting to be there for more than just the wedding day.

A few months before Sean and Stephanie got married, Sean reached out because he was planning to propose to Stephanie at Thesis Hotel in Coral Gables. Of course she said yes, and after all the excitement settled down, we walked around the hotel and celebrated with an engagement session.

A few months later, I got another message from them asking if I would photograph their wedding.

Getting to document both the day they got engaged and the day they got married made this wedding even more special.

Getting Ready at The Biltmore Hotel

Sean and Stephanie wanted to keep everything in the Coral Gables area, so they started the day getting ready at The Biltmore Hotel.

Sean spent the morning getting ready before meeting up with his family, while Stephanie got ready surrounded by the people closest to her before it was time to head to the ceremony.

One of the things I love about weddings in Coral Gables is that everything is so close together. The day flowed naturally without anyone feeling rushed from one place to the next.

A Small Ceremony at Club of Knights

Sean and Stephanie decided to keep their ceremony simple.

They didn’t have a bridal party because they wanted the focus to be on the two of them and the commitment they were making to each other.

Sometimes the smallest ceremonies end up feeling the most personal, and this was definitely one of them.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows before officially becoming husband and wife.

A Big Celebration With Family and Friends

Even though the ceremony was intimate, the reception was anything but.

As guests arrived at Club of Knights, the room quickly filled with family and friends who had come together to celebrate Sean and Stephanie.

The dance floor stayed busy for most of the night, there was no shortage of laughter, and you could tell how excited everyone was to celebrate this new chapter with them.

It was one of those receptions where nobody wanted the night to end.

From “Yes” to “I Do”

Looking back at this wedding, one of my favorite things isn’t just the wedding itself.

It’s knowing I got to photograph the moment their engagement started, and then a few months later, I got to be there when they promised forever.

Not every couple gets to have that story documented from beginning to end, and I’m so grateful Sean and Stephanie trusted me with both.

Coral Gables is one of my favorite places to photograph weddings because every venue has its own personality.

Whether you’re planning a proposal at Thesis Hotel, getting ready at The Biltmore Hotel, or celebrating your wedding at Club of Knights, it’s such a beautiful area to spend your wedding day.

My love for photography began at a young age, when I discovered how a single image could capture not just a scene, but a feeling. What started as a natural curiosity grew into a refined craft, shaped by years of experience and a deep appreciation for artistry and detail. Today, I bring that same passion into every wedding and portrait, blending an editorial eye with a calm presence so my clients can feel fully themselves. At the heart of my work is a belief that photographs are more than images. They are the legacy we leave behind, preserved with beauty and intention.
